Changing Status of the switch
#1
Hello guys.
I have a Taranis QX-7 Tx.
My issue is:
Assume the 2 position arm-switch with its relevant arm-status position A (armed when lifted up) and D (disarmed when pressed down).
The 2 position arm-switch, arms the quad when is Positioned to D position.
I would like to ask whether it is possible to shift the positions of the arm status through the Taranis.
I hope I have been understood.

Yes that can be changed in beta flight in the modes tab. It's fairly straight forward to swap.

Most pilots have the Disarm position down and flip the switch UP to ARM the quad.

Personally, I like it reversed...so, my switch is UP when Disarmed (OFF), and Down for ARM.

When holding the transmitter, my fingers are under the transmitter, so it is easier and quicker for me to slide my had slightly forward and hit the switch (UP) to disarm. For me it is awkward to need to move above the switch (between two switches) to push it down to Disarm. If you need to disarm the quad in flight, you likely need to do it quickly...so every millisecond counts.

Here is my Modes tab in Betaflight.

To reverse, just move the little orange slider the other way. The orange "tick" mark on the bottom shows the position of the switch.

By the way, don't for get to test this while connected to Betaflight. The quad won't actually ARM, but you can see the switch movement and the LABEL turns red as a warning.

Thanks for your responses, however...
I did not mention anything about betaflight.
I asked something very specific.
Is there any way to swap the function of a two seat switch through Taranis parameters?
Yes or No
If yes, how?

If for some reason you can't change the modes setting in Betaflight, you can reverse the channel output for that switch in the radio. Go into the output screen on the model page and reverse the direction for that channel.

Looks like I'm a little late to the party, But Thanks V-22 i have used your instructions with ELRS to keep my switch position the same and change my arm switch to the high position required by the Ranger 1W transmitter.
Many Thanks.
