Hi

My FlySky FS-i6x worked fine with the X6B out of the box I was able to bind. Then I decided to upgrade the firmware (to get RSSI etc). Then it wasn't working anymore.

I tried several firmwares and now installed again the original firmware.

Since I first flashed the firmware I am no longer able to bind the reciver to the Tx.

The i6x just says "RX binding .." and is stuck there.

i dont know a reason for your problem. probably a multiprotocol module could be a way around this software issue, could be a cheap reason.. i try bit didnt find in a short time..

What firmware did you update? Where did you source it from?

I don't think Flysky have official firmware. You are probably using an open source firmware.

Anyway, it probably doesn't matter, but the manual say to power off the B/VCC after binding.

Currently I have the "1.0 2019-Dec-11" version installed (see website).

The binding procedure for the X6B is very simple and I tried it several times.

The procedure in the manual is for the FS-iA6.

...any other ideas?

Have you tried updating the receiver firmware? I think receiver firmware are not official, only open source.
