You need to turn on the serial Rx on port 1 in the port tab. See if you get stick movements. If not, then turn on serial rx on port 6, but remember to turn off the serial rx on port 1 and turn off the GPS on port 6. And you need to desolder the GPS from port 6.

I tried that and I did not get any stick movements. Just to make sure I am looking in the right place the stick movement will be on the "Receiver" page right? I already desoldered the GPS from port 6. I am actually in the process of following this video, I did everything except solder the jumper bridge. Does this look correct to follow?

That was it, thanks! The motors now spin through Betaflight and the motor numbers correspond with the diagram on Betaflight. The motors do not spin using the Taranis though. Also on the "Video Transmitter" page it says that my VTS is not configured or not supported. Is this something that has to be done when I get my goggles?
