Was sad to see this article. We're beat.

Wow amazing, just less than a year ago they were relying on an external camera to relay the drone's position, but running off the FPV feed is a whole other level. Thomas (BMS) had several videos detailing their experience with the system. Soon racing pilots will have to be patted down to make sure they aren't hiding a PC in their pocket!!

If I was a racer, I think I’d want a version of the simulator they used to train it.

I could use it to plot out the fastest course on a track.

I mean, that still wouldn’t help me win because I don’t have the reflexes or skill to follow that line, but, y’know.

if the programms would be better, they would be even faster - humen is allways the bottleneck xD

sadly a machine cant enjoy, so we wont see that smile we got by flyexperience as bad pilots xD


i saw and heard a pidtune issue (not realy), i hope we will get some auto tuning features - i believe humans are actual still ahead there, maybe :-)

Hardly surprising I'd say. AI beats humans in most "games".
