Hey all,
After spending a year thinking about buying a Taranis, mainly because I hate programming a full house sailplane in my XP9303 but also for RSSI etc; I finally gave in. The trigger was actually BG sending me an Frsky beecore FC and I don't want to wait 3 weeks for them replace it with a DSM model.
Not sure whether I'll get a DM9 module or just keep the 9303 for my DSM fleet as I don't plan on replace it all of my receivers. Depends whether or not I can get much for the 9303 now.
So as a Taranis newbie what do I need to know coming from JR? I'll probably flash the international firmware immediately as I don't care for EU regulations and certainly want maximum range.
Any recommended guides out there for full house sailplane programming? Any essential mods? There are a few things I'm surprised the Taranis doesn't have like centre detents on the side sliders and pots - I've seen guides on replacing those but seems like a lot of hassle so will see how I do without for now.
Any and all pointers appreciated.
