Hi everyone,

Since I change the sd card of my Taranis QX7 access, I have no more menu available.
Which is weird because the menu of the RC isn't suppose to be load from the SD card right?
But still I think it was the start of my problems...

So when I hold the menu button it opens page 1/7 of the menu and it says : "NO TOOLS AVAILABLE"

Nothing to do with the bootloader neither : "write firmware" and "restore EEPROM" both lead to a message saying : "Directory is empty!"

I tried to upgrade and downgrade the firmware with Companion, to charge new SD content, to re-format SD in fat-32 but nothing works.
Couldn't find anything on the web talking about a similar issue... for the first time since I started FPV.
I'm quite desperate so if anyone has an idea about what is going on with my Taranis it would be AWESOME!

Yes, the TOOLS menu (LUA Script) files get loaded from the SD Card. The required LUA script files are located in the \SCRIPTS\TOOLS folder on the SD Card, so if you don't have an SD Card inserted or that folder doesn't exist on the SD Card then you will get an empty TOOLS menu.

I do have LUA script files on the SD as shown in the attached screenshot.
Would it means that the SD isn't read properly by the radio or corrupted...?
My SD is a 16GB HC formated in fat.

Yes, I have all of those same LUA scripts in the \SCRIPTS\TOOLS folder on my SD Card plus some additional ones I've added. All of them appear on the TOOLS menu. I'm using an 10 year old 2GB SD Card formatted to FAT32.

If your SD Card is currently formatted to FAT then I would try reformatting it to FAT32.

Alright, I will try to find a smaller SD today and I let you know how it works!

My 16GB SD is actually in Fat32, here is a picture of the card.

Did you figure this out mate? i am stuck on same thing trying to get my taranis elrs ready. I have sandisk 64gb sd card, though. No tools coming up even with lua scripts on my sd card.

In Companion, do you have the lua box selected?
