Betafpv 75 pro camera replacement
#1
Hello,

I have a Betafpv 75 pro 2. I am a beginner so usually I fly it at home in 1s. After a crash the front lens of the camera (Z02 AIO) was broken. I manage to fix it using parts from other discarded cameras, but image is not very clear, so I need to replace the camera. VTX is working fine.

I am considering buying the Caddx EOS2 micro camera and install it to the Betafpv VTX. However, that camera voltage range in the specs sheet is 3.3v to 5v and in my Betafpv tiny whoop on 1s it can go down to 3v or even 2.9 v very fast after flying 1.5-2 minutes.

Should I try with the Caddx EOS2 or try to but the original camera from BetaFPV?

Thanks

Your BetaFPV 75 Pro has a step-up voltage regulator on its flight controller board, which means that even a voltage below 5V will get stepped up to 5V and all the 5V pads will always get 5V of power even when the LiPo goes down to 3V. So it is no problem to use the Caddx EOS2 camera Smile

You could also consider the Runcam nano 2 or nano 3(if it fits) as the run on the same voltage as the EOS2 but have better picture quality. Same price range too..

+1 to a runcam nano 2 or 3.

Thanks for the feedback. I checked the vtx voltaje with a 3.8 v lipo and has 4.7v at the camera so there is a regulator. I will try the new camera once I recieve it. Thanks
