Hi

I finally made the ultimate flight with my little 3".
Last modification TX TBS unify HV, 700mW to have some margin on the video.
The spot is just perfect for this kind of performance.

A very stressful flight Confused

Hope you like it Smile

Very impressive! Looks like a beautiful and low noise spot to fly, although the low battery return over the river was a little stressful Smile

It looks like you've made easy work of the challenge. What's your next goal?

Awesome attempt.  11Km is a very good effort, and to do it in a sub 250g craft is outstanding!  So well done!

Do  you believe you have reached the limits of this quad for distance? Popcorn

Also, be sure to request your 5km badge here to go on your postings.  Smile

Again, well done, and you are a true long range guy and did it honestly, you went out to your limit and RETURNED safely. Thumbs Up

Thank you, very close to the limit, there was only 3 minutes of energy left so very little safety margin.

Yeah, I've been out 8.1 miles that was about 6.8 miles for you.  But I was flying a 10 inch quad with the ability to run lots of battery.

I was just curious if you had other battery configurations in mind or was that about the absolute best you can expect for  that system?

Awesome.

A 12 turn helical antenna is killer. No wonder the video signal is good for LR.

Very cool, and cool name too. Not that I want have a desire (or know how) to make freestyle video but the first song I can think of that I'd want to use would be The Red Baron by Sabaton. There is far too much EDM in FPV.

12 Turn, wow planning a mission to mars?!

I've been very happy with my DIY 5 and 7 turns, clear video well beyond 6km at which point battery life becomes the issue, even with my 4200mAh pack...  probably with heavy drones and GoPro cameras.

Anyway congrats again, great accomplishment!

Thanks, the spot is also very important...
After the 11K, I tested also the max distance with 25mW => 6km video on the way
