I don't know if these picture comparisons make any sense of what is happening.The blue debug lines move with all my other FC but not Radix Li.
 Here is a picture of Radix Li with quad moving on sensor tab of gyro debug in Betaflight while moving quad.
 

  Here is another FC showing same thing but blue lines move with my other FC when I move quad.
 

I hope this has nothing to do with the custom firmware from BrainFPV. And how the code is mot working well with the Gyro.

I am out of ideas.

It feels as if the FC needs to warm up to temperature before it can stabilize the flight. Not sure if this is even a thing?

 What is strange is the Radix 1 and 2 behave like my others and move the blue lines but Radix Li is not making blue lines move at all.
I think I have a bad gyro sensor.

Is Airmode turned on permanently? Or any kind of fancy throttle based airmode activation to do what Mr Steele does?

I think I’m wrong about gyro sensor for I put every FC on gyro sensor and a small portion  react the same way.
 Time to put a black box FC on it or an analog vtx to use radix OSD features for tuning.

I talked to brainfpv and it just needs some tuning.

What did they suggest?

I could see “tuning” as a correction if it wobbled continuously .. but you said it only did it for the first 30 seconds.. I’m not a “tuner” by any stretch .. but I will be curious to see the results

I'm also pessimistic about this being a tuning issue. If I was a betting man I would say there was some kind of hardware fault with the FC otherwise it would do the wobble either all the time or for the first 30 seconds on every take-off, not just for the first 30 seconds after powering up the FC with a LiPo.

 It was cold today and it wobbled the whole flight and was worse than ever.
 It was cold on maiden and it was bad,second time warmer and not as bad,but today it was cold and wobbled the whole flight.
 I’m starting to get aggravated with these companies.

..IMO, you can chase this rabbit down it’s hole and never reach the bottom.. or… drop $50 on a reliable FC .. replace what u have and fly …
Rerun to this fc and it’s “issue” later..on a bench, when it’s raining, and cold outside ..
It’s warming up .. time to fly.. not trouble shoot

 I agree.
 I just got it from Brainfpv.
 They answer emails but they say I have PID set too high but I am on default settings so that makes no sense.
  
  
  I think what ever bug it has it reacts to cold weather.

 I will mail it back and let them deal with it.I can’t lose hours of work messing with defective equipment.
 
  
 I have some hobbywing F7 on their way.
 Never had a bad Hobbywing and they are finally back in stock.
 I buy direct from hobbywing and get 10% off with free priority shipping.

On a more lighter note HDZero does look good flying around freestyle range.
There’s some noise but not like 200mw.I’d say about 80% less noise when going behind trees or bushes and up high above tree line it really shines.

Also I did find out that hobbywing F7 DJI Vtx connector port has a 10v 2amp filtered bec.
20watts is plenty for HDZero 15watt requirements and I’ll be verifying that myself very soon.

I did think it was something to do with the temperature but I am still not sure that is the culprit.

Still think its not worth the time chasing up this issue and let the manufacturer deal with it.

They can PID tune the FC to their hearts desire.
