Good idea, and keep checking your motor directions and if you use the right props.
I had the first time all my props on the wrong motor, so it was pushing itself into the ground.
Check also if you have used 2 CW props and 2 CCW props instead of 3 - 1.
If you spin one motor in the motor tab, is it then the right motor?

Yes, the motors are spinning correct... 1 is 1, 2 is 2, etc etc and all four spin in the proper direction. i tripled check the props just to make sure I didnt over look anything and these are actually marked cw, and ccw. when spinning up the motors in BF they hold solid, it's when i connect the tx and spin up is when everything goes to hell.

Let us know if it is anything similar to the problem Im having with my stock H8 mini board. Only changed motors and props.
Acts as if my roll trim is stuck until i touch down and it starts all over. Im at the point Im chucking it up to harmonic vibrations.

Posted a video in a reply. Sorry if this is completely different. Brainstorming

Your issue kind of sort of looks similar but I believe it's a different issue.

I'll try to upload a video later of it on the bench and how it reacts when given some throttle.  Here are the screens from my BF setup.

Only thing i could think of, maybe yaw motor direction is wrong? Can be set by yaw_motor_direction in cli, but would be weird...
Do motors react correct to yaw stick?

Yes, it's something simple.  Look at screen 2 (configuration)  Your yaw in board orientation is set at 270 degrees, should be zero

fftunes: yes the yaw stick reacts as it should. Once I give yaw then the same issue, 1 and 2 steadily increase and 3 and 4 decrease no matter which direction i give yaw.

Renv08r: sorry I should have stated earlier that the 270 setting was done after my first attempt of getting lift off and after reading some other articles. First attempt the hard right yaw, second attempt AFTER the 270 setup, hard right yaw. I'll get a video posted tomorrow hopefully after work.

I do appreciate the help guys, I truly do. I came from flying helis and this is a whole new beast!

Are you sure about the motor order i.e. was it just typo? Huh

With normal motor direction, for yaw stick right => motors 2&3 should engage, yaw stick left => motors 1&4 ...

PS: There's a trap with board orientation... values can be positive or negative. Also the little circle-arrow-symbol is misleading in the gui, could it be your board needs +90° or -270° instead?

Set your yaw to 250 in configuration tab

Can you please tell me how you fixed your x220 to work? I can't get mine to listen to my controller it is bound but doesn't work the same problem you had at the beginning of this thread
