Wizard 220 Help...
#31
fftunes: sorry, you are correct, it was a typo. I've had 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 on my mind since this has been going on haha.

Matt: I could't get the x8r to work so thankfully I like to have backups of different things and the x4r worked like a charm once I got everything switched over on the board and setup port three for serial rx. Also selecting the correct stuff under the configuration tab under receiver.

Renov8r: If the quad is facing forward the arrow on the board is facing left between motors 3 and 4.

Is it possible this thing is in some sort of mode by default that is causing these issues on lift off?

Flight modes (rate, angle, horizon airmode) need to be set up in the modes tab. Have you done this?

In your earlier screenshots, you have both yaw alignment and mag adjustment set. Don't use both (I usually just use yaw alignment).

Im thinking not having set the modes may very well be the issue, I could be wrong. Anyone have any place I can read up on this? No idea what I'm doing for modes.

I tried just the yaw adjustment last night on bench testing and the same issue was present.

This is a great video on Betaflight setup.  Modes setup starts at 11:25 but I'd watch the whole video

I have had a similar issue with a fs-ia6b. I could not rebind it. I did a lot of research, but at the end of the day I had to get a new receiver.

It may come down to that with me I've been doing research for days now

Are you positive you have everything set up correctly in BF?

So I have flashed with the newest version and started from scratch. Setup everything using these videos as a guide and I still have the same issue. 1 and 2 just increase in throttle while 3 and 4 decrease. I have air mode, horizon and angle all setup as well. I don't know what else to do. Maybe I've got bad wiring? No idea.

anygiven, it sounds like your setup should be like what is illustrated in this very recent X220 tutorial video by Joshua Bardwell.  You should probably watch it very carefully.  Note especially the instructions to move the receiver pigtail from one port to the other on the FC (the default port is for PPM and you are using SBUS like Joshua).

Lots of good stuff in this video - Good Luck, and let us know how it turns out.
