Wiring ZOHD kopilot with PWM ELRS RX (R24-P)
#1
Hi everyone,
RC newbie here. Can you guide me to understand and wire my electronics for my first fixed wing (ZOHD Talon 250g).

Although this might be stupidly simple for most of you, I am bit confused wiring my PWM receiver (Matek ELRS R24-P) to Kopilot.
R24-P has total 5x3 pins (5 PWM outputs) unlike most - 6x3 pins (5CH + 1 BAT). It doesn't have CH markings, but rather marked as (1 - Boot / 2 -  Tx / 3 - Rx / 4 - IO9 / 5 - IO10).

So, should I place 3pin connector verticaly to RX CH1 Boot, and 4pin connector next to it - horizontally on CH2,3,4,5)?

Did it work, what’s the final wiring, do you have diagram ? I’m going to buy MATEKSYS ExpressLRS 2.4GHz Receiver - PWM ELRS-R24-P6

For the RX, when set to work in PWM mode I believe you use the pin numbers as labelled on top of the board 1-5. If you change it to UART or SBUS mode, then you would wire according to the labelling on the bottom of the board TX/RX.

You can configure the RX mode as well as remap channels by connecting to it via wifi.

Your flight controller has SBUS, so that may make for a simpler alternative wiring solution, single wire will carry all 16 channels, but I think you need to be on ELRS 3.x for that.
