i haven’t flown in years and am looking to get back into the interest, but i would love a small quad that may fly inside and outside. i have a frsky taranis transmitter and an eachine e100 (i suppose that’s the model) goggles. what’s my high-quality bnf alternative? thanks

Besides the quad.. think about batteries and a charger.. if u want to get ur feet wet again.. a 1s whoop is good for indoors.. but get blown around outside.. batteries are cheap and so are the chargers..

There's pretty much nothing bigger than a whoop I would want to fly indoors in a normal size house because you won't damage anything and can shoot really small gaps. My current favourite is the mobula 6 but there are many good options.
When you feel you've got the hang of it you can look at a 3-5 inch for outdoor flying but that can come later. At least here the weather sucks enough that I almost only fly indoor during winter.

This is yet another copy/paste spammer. We seem to have been getting a few of these recently. So don't waste your time answering this thread.

The spammer will later come back and edit spam links into the first post as per usual. EDIT: No they won't because they are now banned.

Damn. They keep sucking me in, like tall grass into my motor shaft.
Dangerous operations.

Disclaimer: I don’t know wtf I’m talking about.
I wish I could get the smell of burnt electronics out of my nose.

We are having the same (spamming) issue over at RDQ forum.. unfortunately, as a mod I can only “mark as spam” or Delete.. no “ban” option as of yet..

I bought a moblite 7 and PROMPTLY returned it because is was so flimsy and DOA. Very poor quality. I then ordered a Tinyhawk 2 and LOVE it. Tough as hell and can go from mild to wild. I liked it so much I ordered the Tinyhawk 2 Race for outdoors and love it as well. Great little drones.

The timyhawk series CAN be good, but has “issues”…fly it till u kill it! .. I have plenty of solutions for any issues U may encounter . May I suggest, stay off 2s for that setup ..my wife’s middle school kids havnt killed one YET…

Yeah i tried 2s a couple times and wasnt impressed.  It flies fine on 1s.  I use the Race for 2s and it is much faster and agile anyhow.  I also have a diatone F5, Armatan Tadpole 3" HD and a new Protek35 with 6s.  I stopped flying those since getting the tinyhawks...lol.  At least for backyard flying they cant be beat.    I also just added Expresslrs and the eachine vtx for MUCH further range on the tinyhawk race which makes it even more fun.  It is just as stable as my 5".

Sorry to hear you got a doa one. It was made flimsy on purpose to reduce weight for long flight times (almost ten minutes). My moblite7 came with a warped frame but still flew descent and gets 2 to 3 times the flight time my Tinyhawk 2 gets on the same 1S battery. I moved it to a 75mm open prop carbon fiber frame and it flies great but did lose a little flight time. It still gets almost twice the flight time as my TH2. My only complaints with the TH2 is short flight time and the props tend to crack around the shaft hole and fall off easily. Bought a bunch of extra props but still consider it a design flaw the way the prop hub is made.

EDIT: This thread was started by a spammer who has been banned and will likely be deleted......

a huge difference between the moblite7 and the th is the power to weight ratio, the moblite7 has more abilities from its better performance. its better suited than the th for flying outdoors or any acrobatics.
sadly there is a chance on both manufacturers emax and happymodel to receive a faulty product Undecided qc has lower importance than low prices in our hobby Undecided

I watched Nick's video when I was checking out the Moblite7.

This is another crazy indoor acro vid I stumbled upon. It is a Mobula 6... They make me feel like I have a long way to go.
