The Syma X5C makes a fun FPV quadcopter.
I removed the prop guards, the on board camera and the landing legs. I weighed them and was pleased to see they weigh the same as my little Eachine TX02 super mini 5.8GHz FPV Transmitter with FPV camera and Clover Antenna.
I made a little mount for the camera/tx unit and velcroed it to the top of the Syma. It works great. The camera/tx plugs into the place where the picture camera plugged into. What could be easier? I am using 800 mah batteries to power the rig. The video is as clear as a bell, too.
