Hi -
After watching this super informative video on capacitor placement ()
I decided to try adding a small 330uf cap on the VBAT pads of my flight controller in addition to my 1000uf cap on 4-in-1 ESC battery pads. I installed a new ESC (Tmotor Velox 50 amp) and it was creating what I suspected was some random electrical noise that was getting through the first cap which resulted in noise around 80 hz (see first picture). After installing the cap on the flight controller it completely eliminated this unwanted noise (see second pic). Both graphs are from similar flights of similar length.
If you have any electrical noise issues on your quad try adding a small cap on the VBAT pads of your flight controller!
Anyone have any other experience on this please feel free to share.
