Screws for two inch props?
#31
How big are those bolts? Tongue I tend to use 16mm for putting FC's and VTX on to frames. Anything bigger and you end up with a weird looking stack with the canopy sat on top like a top hat. Big Grin I prefer my builds to be less vertical and more streamlined.

So for mounting I do use pan head hex bolts, similar to the ones mstc uses, but slightly more depth. I hate them, but I do use them. But for my builds I then have to put some sort of rubber sheet on it or the bolt heads end up going through the Lipos when i strap them down. Yes I bottom mount my batteries, mainly because all my frames until recently have been those Twig based racing frames.

Now, I was given a quad, it was kinda like a cini-quad, the frame looked like chrome.. it was a 4s -2” rig.. heavy (POS).. but it had screws..
I guess application and how u fly will help dictate whether you use or not use them..
Kinda like props… I used to purchase the “dark grey, black” props for my rigs.. thought they looked bad ass (hanging on my wall)… until you can’t see your rig 5 feet in front of you in tall grass…
I get the loudest, brightest, most contrasting I can find now..

I flew my TH3+ freestyle about 4 or five flights w/o prop screws - just press them thar props onto 1.5mm shafts and cruise away... Then I saw a vid where someone with a TH (I think v2) did a powered dive from 30+feet up.... popped a prop off at end of dive, and 2 others near popped off.... So, yeah if you are going to do acrobatics or to be safe, screw in those prop screws
