Reliable RC Parts Shops Vendors - World Wide
#76
GetFPV, RDQ, Pyrodrone and NBD have all been solid for me. But I swear Amazon who I order a ton of other stuff from just can't get FPV parts right for me, there is almost always a goof. Like this, on a whim I decided to go with one of these ELRS built in antenna RX. Listing showed same day delivery, 48 hours later I check on it:

This was also one of the only times I've seen Amazon match the price to the above mentioned US stores. Amazon is nearly always 10% or so higher.

Hi Sevro,

We use Amazon several times a week, almost every week, and have always
gotten excellent service even on the ton of FPV drone parts that I routinely
order. We have had very few items the didn't arrive, however, Amazon made
good on them and refunded our money on the spot. Even when we order the
wrong size or something just doesn't work out for us (like reading glasses)
Amazon always refunds our money. In fact, we don't mind paying a little extra
for the excellent return/refund policy.

It looks like this one from the "Speedy Bee" store.

This one is available from the "RadioMaster" store.

Let us know if is one of these so that we might be cautious about
placing an order from the "store" that you had the issue with.

By the way, some of the "vendors" mark the prices on drone parts
so high that it is ridiculous. Yeah, one still has to be aware of what
something is worth.

What many people might not realize is that AMAZON has several marketing
methodologies:  1) Amazon Buys stuff and resells it, 2) Amazon "Rents" space
to a vendor who orders items and has them shipped directly to Amazon where
product is received at the warehouse, when an order is received, the Amazon
staff assemble the package and ship it, 3) Amazon is merely a "storefront" for
other businesses to advertise products. I once bought an item from Amazon
where GetFPV was listed as the supplier. Evidently, the order was sent to GetFPV
and they, in turn, processed the order and sent it to me. Since the package was
from GetFPV and NOT Amazon, I didn't immediately recognize that it was actually
an order that I placed on Amazon.

By the way, the price is not always set by Amazon. While Amazon sets pricing on
items that they resell, for the other options (#2 and #3), it is the marketer or
vendor the determines the price. I have seen a wide variety of prices for exactly
the same item depending on who the vendor/marketer is.

Although I have and still do order drone parts from Amazon, my go to vendors
for drone parts are as follows, in order of priority:  1) PyroDrone, 2) RDQ,  3) GetFPV.

I don't see Pyrodrone on the list, as an international shopper they are spot on, never had an issue and they respond to question and queries in no time, they are worth having on any list imo

Every time I compare products locally to amazon, amazon are about 20-25% more expensive. Unfortunately finding some things over here is still hard. Like the other week I was trying to find some Gemfan 40mm props, 3 blade, with the highest pitch possible and only BetaFPV's amazon store had any. In the end I bought some Azure props from a local store instead, that were less. Amazon seems more of a rip off nowadays.
