If I may respectfully say, please be careful when flying over neighbour's houses and public roads.  Ya never know when sh1t goes south.   I've had a few expensive lessons on this myself unfortunately.

Interested to know how you feel that new ws gps performs? 19 sats on takeoff is pretty good!

Noted, thankfully I have very cool neighbors but I still do not feel comfortable flying this quad in my backyard. I had been fighting with PID toolbox all weekend and was dying to at least see if it would fly before heading to mothers day dinner lol. One of the reasons I am going so slow, and this is definitely a park flyer with the zip it has.

The GPS works VERY well. I was worried with all the trouble people where having using it with the Avatar HD system. And when it was rear mounted under the V1 antenna it not work nearly as well. Mounted on the front I pick up 8 satellites inside the house in minutes. The internal battery keeps it powered enough to hold lock when switching batteries also which works really well.

I hear ya mate, damn I've gone out at 11pm and flew at the local Bunnings carpark just to test stuff, lol...

Good to know the gps works well!  I recently put a crappy BN clone on my o3 based quad and even that works OK.  The WS stuff really kills gps.  I can only assume the hardcore all-enclosed style of vista/o3 units helps with the interference.

That's been my deal as well but on 16mm motors but most of the smaller batteries were WAY worse at sag for me if you push them. These are the 4s packs that I have with their weights shown, the ones highlighted in yellow sagged the least. I've not seen that BetaFPV anywhere since I bought it at Pyro and it's not even listed as out of stock on there now. Also note that my Tattu 850s weigh a lot less than they're spec'd at. 

I've not tried cruising on my setup with those other 4 batteries, I think they'd be fine for that.

In your case those 850mah GNB yellow would put you on the right weight depending on what your Tattu 850s weigh.

Great chart! Thanks for posting that. Yeah my tattU 850 is the old logo not the r line but it comes in a 95 grams so pretty close to your chart. I was actually looking at that GNB battery.

Noticed it's out of stock at Pyro and Amazon is charging quite a bit more for it, but that seems to be the case with most FPV stuff. 

I'm tempted to pickup the Dogcom 850mah battery from Pyrodrone, it's spec'd at 100g. I've always heard good things on Dogcom packs and that they really do punch and can deliver on the high C ratings. But if it's really that heavy then my quads will be well over 250g. 

Think I need to carry the 650mah GNB in pocket and swap it out for the 850mah if questioned.

Lol!! Have you ever tried the pyrodrone graphine batteries? I’m wondering which manufacturer they relabeled.

You guys got to try the BONKA brand, not sure of availability stateside but here in rooland a few stores stock them. My goto are the 450mah 4s packs and the 650 and 750mah 6s packs.

I skipped them since they were so listed so heavy. GetFPV's house brand Lumenier had some kind of "lightweight" graphene battery but I'm pretty sure it was one of the heaviest as well.

I have some 6s 1300mah Lumenier graphene batteries and there is not a thing noticeable about them over the same sizes in a few other brands in performance.

Dropped in some RCinpower 1804 motors and this quad is a beast!  Tons of power for its AUW of 285 grams.  There is a good chance I will be going back to the 1504.5 motors but I am going do some more tuning and possibly scale throttle to 80%.  There is no weight savings between the two motors so I will see how it goes with some more flight time. I did ALMOST hit 100mph though lol.  I was flying against the wind so I am certain on a clear non windy day I could do 100mph easy.  this was using my lighter 550mah 4s batteries so sag was bad and flight time was only 2 minutes 

Mission accomplished...... Barely.  The Mamba was 12 grams and wanted to use it for a future cinewhoop build anyway so swapped in the lighter TuneRC AIO which is half the weight at 5.8 grams.  The GPS was cool but not really needed on this platform so it got removed and installed in the 5".  Swapped in a Walksnail 1s lite VTX and nano cam, and I also reduced the size of the antenna mount.  I could probably save another 4 grams by removing the voltage regulator to the walksnail VTX but past experience has shown me that the walksnail VTX, when run off the FC BEC tends  to die so I will take the extra weight for a 3 amp dedicated voltage regulator.  

Good build. If you ditch the TPU motor guards and use titanium screws, you'll save a few grams on a Foxeer M10Q-120 GPS or other lightweight GPS receiver. GPS can save you money and save your aircraft.

I could probably save an additional 5 grams swapping to titanium bolts. Butt.... Its not easy finding counter sunk titanium bolts. I would Need several M3's, 7x10mm, 4x12mm, and 7x8mm. Best deal I can find is lots of 10 for about $11 each. At that point I am over $30 plus shipping and half way to just getting a lighter frame lol

Removing the TPU motor skids will likely get 5g or more.

Last week my quadcopter receiver died in flight. I no longer controlled the quadcopter, RXLoss. Betaflight brought the quadcopter to the takeoff point and landed it. I put GPS receivers on all my quadcopters just for such cases. The GPS receiver saved me about $500.
