0 I had been tuning my 250 without FPV gear on it (No Cam, VTX, MinimOSD) and now that I have added it, the PID progess I have made seems to be pointless. It's oscillating in the air, and seems to act totally different again. Anyone here fly with and without the gear and noticed a difference? I guess the main question is will the PID loop be affected by weight addition? I am guessing that it would be affected.

50 12-Jun-2017, 12:39 AM (This post was last modified: 12-Jun-2017, 12:41 AM by Drone0fPrey.) With the added weight comes added ineria and therefore it is probably going to require a bit of a change in the forces applied to maintain the same feel and performance.
Personally I am still getting the hang of tuning also, so hopefully someone can correct me here if I am off target, but I would maybe start by raising D slightly to help slow down and stop that extra weight, particularly on the pitch axis due to the weight being added front and rear. (Normally. I am unfamiliar with your specific build)
