Pdb current sensor
#1
If I pulled the motor 4 esc sensor pad off a pdb, https://www.getfpv.com/lumenier-mini-4po...l?___SID=U, what can I do? Did look for a jumper but don’t want to solder to a capacitor.
As I am using BLheli S
Escs, what if I doubled the m4 esc sensor wire to another esc sensor pad, wouldn’t I get the accurate current draw in the OSD even though they wouldn’t be accurate individually in Betaflight?
Or what if I switched all esc sensor wires to the telemetry pads, used the telemetry slot on the pigtail and kept the wire to current sensor on the fc?

If you are referring to the ESC tele pad, you can piggyback another pad. They all tie together onto a single UART anyway.

I’ve been using the pads marked S, not Tlm, are they interchangeable? So could I just place the sensor wire on Tlm4 instead of running to S3?

those are not interchangeable. "S#" is Signal#, not Sensor#

as for your problem, i don't think there's any fixing it unless you can solder to the trace leading to the pad that lifted off, or follow the trace to an area you could solder to.

The "S" pads are the ESC signal wire connection pads. The TLM pads are UART pads. The two aren't interchangeable. You might be able to connect that ESC signal wire direct to the FC instead, or to another motor pad on the FC with some motor resource remapping.

What FC are you using with this PDB?

Matek 722 mini se.
so I think I’m understanding, the S4 wire in the pigtail to the FC is the signal wire, so I could solder a longer signal wire to the S4 pad on the FC? or splice the S4 wire from the pigtail with the signal wire?

Yes, exactly that. Either of the two options you mentioned will work.
