0 When setting up in Cleanflight Arrow doesn`t point to front of quad ,looks more like magnetic north. Changed yaw settings to 90 ,180,270, then to -90 ,-180 -270 still not seeing at front of quad. beings everything is onboard with the quad could that be a factor? {i.e. : interference} Quad seems to fly fine when yaw set to 0 ,so I`m wondering if I`m wrong in thinking it should point to the front of Quad ,First post first quad any help appreciated.. ~ Chuck

30 You only need to be concerned on which way the arrow on the flight controller points..If it is pointing to the front of the quad you are good to go, If the arrow on the flight controller is facing to the left or right you will need to +90 in Yaw or -90 in yaw.
You can ignore which way the quads faces in Cleanflight, so long as when you pitch forward with the quad the quad pic in cleanflight tilts forward and same with all other axis.

2 There is a button on the setup page that says something like "reset heading". Hit that and it will make the 3d model face forward. Has no bearing in the actual performance of it. At least I'm guessing that's where u are confused. Or does your board have a magnetometer?

0 Quad always pitched ,rolled, and yawed in the right direction on the screen .It was just the arrow in the program was not pointing at the front of the quad . Sorry for my confusing description of what I thought was a problem. First programmable quad ,so a few learning curves will be had...
