Hi, I bought a new Meteor75 from BetaFPV... it is running on Crossfire.

When I started it with a fresh charged battery, it hover fine for approximately 30 secs... then it started to slowly drift to the left.

I have calibrated the Gyro in the betaflight.

It only happens after the whoop gets into the air for about approximately 30 secs or more.

When I disarm and let it rest and rearm, it hover fine again for about approximately 30 secs... then it started left drifting. The drift get worst gradually and I have to compensate it by right row.

I bought the Meteor75 with crossfire receiver and I have the exact same problem with you. It happens only on the stab mode(Horizon mode).

Somehow, it will slowly roll to the left after certain seconds(> 10 sec) of flight. I cannot find a solution to it and I have submit a ticket to Betafpv but their support hasn't get back to me yet.

So, I have no choice but to stop flying indoor with stab mode. I have to go outdoor to fly in air mode until this stab problem get fixed.

The meteor has no sensors to tell if it starts drifting, only the gyro to keep it pretty level but you're never going to get an exact self flying hover without a self flying drone with loads of sensors. I would say the solution is to either start giving stick input to keep it where you want it or get a mavic or something that has all the aids so you can let go of the sticks.

did you calibrate the accrelometer?
did you check your stick values in bfc, are they centered at 1500 for roll? is the animated model moving lime your issue?

@patlo it should be able to stay leveled on angle mode, holding attitude wont be possible but drifting shouldnt be.

Yes, the first time when I noticed about this happen, I go straight into betaflight and calibrate the accelerometer. Yes, I also checked the stick value, they are at the correct position.

Like what the original poster said, it is able to hover in place for awhile... then it will start to roll slowly to the left. The roll will get worst and worst. Even when you land, disarm and re-arm. It will continue to roll leftward.

Well yes pretty much level, but at least I have never had a drone calibrated well enough to stay perfectly still in angle mode. If your calibration is off even 0.01 degrees it will start drifting eventually and if they get 10-30s before it starts drifting I would say it's pretty well calibrated already.

I didn't know about using stick commands to trim the accelerometer

You could probably input values directly into Betaflight Configurator as well
