0 If anyone can help I am running out of things to try.
Configuration is:
JB F7 V2 with Betaflight 10.9
Blitz E45S ESC with Bluejay Q-H-50 .18
FlySky FS-X6B receiver.
Scenario 1:
If I load Betaflight and flash with 4.4.2 or 4.4.0 firmware and go into the receiver tab the FC does not see the recevier controls, they are all blank. If I reflash with 3.3.2 all stick controls and receiver operate as designed.
Scenario 2:
With Betaflight firmware 3.3.2 all controls work as designed in the receiver tab. The motor controls operate the motors as designed in the motors tab. But when I disconnect from Betaflight and arm the FC the motors spin at maximum throttle and out of control.
Thanks in advance

100 if you does step two without rotors, no rotors is the reason for it. airmode feature does motorwindup to get controll, but as there is no rotor it tries endless.
give it a try with props ;-)

0 I will give it a try. I did turn off air mode, not sure if that was a valid test but I am waiting for the props to be deliverd and will take it outside with props and see what happens. Thank You!

388 If you have no props and air mode enabled, the motor will go to max when arm. The FC is trying to compensate but without props, it tries harder and harder. Personally, I would enable air mode and get props on to test.

0 I understand I did turn airmode back on and will give it a shot outside when I get the props. When I arm the motors spin all out throttle they don't spin up to max they just go to max speed with no props. Thank you!!!

121 28-Sep-2023, 07:29 PM (This post was last modified: 28-Sep-2023, 07:30 PM by Lemonyleprosy.) Your FlySky FS-X6B is likely using i-bus to communicate with the flight controller.
In betaflight 4.4.x, I-bus support is no longer included in the standard build- when you flash 4.4.x, you’ll need to select the appropriate receiver protocol from the drop down menu under the build configuration section of the firmware flashing tab.
Dangerous operations.
Disclaimer: I don’t know wtf I’m talking about.
I wish I could get the smell of burnt electronics out of my nose.

1 28-Sep-2023, 07:38 PM (This post was last modified: 28-Sep-2023, 07:41 PM by lyoha.) On the PID tab, try setting %throttle to 70% to start. Then a little experimentation.
