Gal Kremer has just released a handy motor remapping helper tool for anyone who needs to change the orientation of their 4-in-1 ESC board and either has trouble getting their head around what remappings to apply, or who just can't be bothered to do think about it...

Bardwell has a simple way of doing it.. it’s a matter of just writing things down..and changing “resources”..
But the 4.3 setup looks simple!

You might be thinking of OpenTX 2.4 Big Grin I believe it was always planned for Betaflight 4.3 be released in the first or second quarter of 2021.

Yep, OpenTX 2.4 has been in development for about 18 months already. In the mean time the OpenTX devs keep releasing yet another iteration of OpenTX 2.3.x, but not 2.4.0 that has all the juicy features which everyone has been waiting for, including support for the touch screen transmitters and official support for CRSFshot amongst other things. Some time before Christmas, OpenTX 2.4 was reportedly around 60% complete. So I guess we can expect it some time in 2022 Big Grin

It is simple and straightforward but it usally takes me 2 shots to get it right... this will be a welcome addition.
I hope they also incorporate motor spin direction....

Yes, the new Betaflight 4.3 motor remapping feature also configures the correct motor direction for you. It uses BLHeli commands to reconfigure the ESCs as required. This means you will never have to fire up BLHeliSuite or BLHeli Configurator again unless you want to flash new ESC firmware, or change some other settings (which people rarely need to do).
