Moblite7 vtx antenna brocken. Looking to upgrade it to a lumeneir a micro axii
#16
I have been wanting to add a new vtx antenna to my moblite7 as well. I actually already have it. My question is after I clip the connector off can I just solder the inside part to the old wire antenna it came with and then the braided to a ground?

I will suggest you solder directly to the VTX antenna signal solder pad. Any additional connections just add to the loss in signal.

So I thought I posted this earlier, I don't know what happened. I also wanted to add a better VTX antenna to my moblite7. I already have the antenna, my question is can I just solder the air wire of the antenna to the wire antenna that comes on the moblite7 and ground the braided?

My answer is still the same:

You can tell by my frame and canopy that I’m not concerned about adding additional weight. Tongue

hey dude, which carbon base frame is this? I have been looking for a carbon base plate for a moblite7 frame or a meteor75 frame and it looks like this one would be perfect!

It’s a NBD 75mm Cockroach:

The carbon fiber is the optional stiffener/brace.
Dangerous operations.

Disclaimer: I don’t know wtf I’m talking about.
I wish I could get the smell of burnt electronics out of my nose.

The frame is durable, and I think they have a lifetime replacement warranty. It’s heavy as hell though.

All bits from a meteor 75 should fit in it just fine.
Dangerous operations.
