How to see the text on the chips of a flight controller

It's handy to know what MCU or IMU you have on your flight controller (F1, F3, F4, F7, MPU6000, MPU6500 etc...)
But sometimes it's hard to see. The solution is to put a piece of scotch tape on top of it like this

Now that is a good idea, easier and faster than a jewelers loupe. Cool that you cited the source too!

I use phone camera with flash on on slight angle works well
some times requires to make is slightly wet by finger but works well
