Bardwell did a video a while ago on how to use a old aio fc as a wireless “dongle” for controllers in a simulator.
It’s fairly simple.. just a cli command and ur good to go (set usb_his_cdc = on) then “save”…now u can just plug the fc into the usb and ur controller uses the rx to connect.. pretty cool huh?
I did this with 2 old FCs both toasted ESCs and they work as a wireless connection “as advertised” the problem I have is .. betaflight no longer recognizes these FCs when plugged in.. it will connect if I used the boot loader button.. it goes into DFU but that’s it.. no access to anything . I may try a firmware update, but BF firmware targets don’t show as before..
This is just a “why did this happen” question and WHY can’t it be reversed… say I used a GOOD AIO.. I would be a little upset.. especially for how much they are now
Anyone have any ideas?
