Oh yeah, I learned the lesson with sand the hard way. Thinking it's probably smarter not to repurpose a quad and just build one specifically for it. See if I can get opflow and cheap lidar on it for precision.

I just fly back.. get close lift my goggles.. fly LOS, and dis-arm and catch it..it’ was my first quad.. wizard 220, got it used.. put it through hell.. still had the original pdb, and one motors.. can’t tell you how many FCs or ESCs I’ve replaced.. it’s also got 3 different motors.. so if I loose it to Davy Jones’ locker.. I’m ok with it..until i gota replace it

ive thought of doing the same sort of fishing build before, but the second camera on a switch is awsome!

Got the idea from Bardwell’s “cheater quad” pointed it down instead of on the back..

Same with my Rescue Quad.

I need to find time and slowly go through that thread..very informative and DEEEP down the rabbit hole!

So a 5 inch freestyle quad could actually haul a 6-pack of beer...not bad...

And here, I built a 7" to rescue a sub-250 gram 5" quad. Now, I will just
have to try that weight test. Yeah, we have a set of those dumbbells.
