Keep in mind that originally, FRIAS were only supposed to last a year and
then to be phased out as the craft flying in FRIAS were fitted with Remote ID.
After that, there would be NO MORE FRIAS.
This part got changed before the final ruling to allow FRIAS with a 4 year
expiration that could be renewed. Yeah, let's see if all that is in the 2023 LAW.
So, it really makes sense and is logical that the intent is to severely LIMIT the
number of FRIAS. My guess is that any rationale to deny will be used. NO,
they are not going to "adjust" a request to "fit".
The idea is to get ALL 250+ gram UAS (drones) fitted with Remote ID.
