Hi, I still struggle with reading rules :P
#1
Didn't read the rules before I posted my first question so here's a belated introduction: Tongue

I'm from Minnesota, 31 yrs old, I have a gaggle of kids following me around, and I'm fairly new to quads. I did have a DJI FPV a couple years ago but its fairly easy to break, parts are expensive, and its a lot of work to repair. So not ideal to learn on when you're as impatient as I am (GOTTA TRY ALL THE STUNTS NOW!). There was too much downtime so I wasn't really learning too much. So I sold it and fpv/quads was on the back burner for a while.

I've been flying fixed wing rc for a while and have too many fixed wing builds/repairs going to shake a balsa stick at.

I bought a used RTF Emax Tinyhawk III setup (quad, goggles, cheap tx) a couple months ago and I've really been having fun with it around the house. Then I found a good deal on an Emax Hawk Pro 5 inch racing quad (I swear I'm not an Emax ad bot) so I've expanded to my yard and the fields around. Loving it so far and plan on building ALL the quads as soon as money allows.

I have a pressing question which is why I came outta the woods to post on this forum. Here's a link to the question I posted: https://intofpv.com/t-newb-about-customi...#pid213568

I plan on frequenting these forums a lot in the future Big Grin

The rules equate to two rules.

1. Don't be a dick.
2. Use common sense.

Do both of those and life will be fun and happy.

Oh and welcome. Big Grin

This video is about the new mob 6 (ELRS) but I think it’s uart based.. I think the Tinyhawk III is spi based. Either way there is good info on connecting and setting things up in betaflight…. It actually cleared some issues I had up..(binding phrase)..
