388 Like I said, change it on either the receiver or FC, it does not matter. As long as you don't do it for both, the end result is the same. Personally, changing it on the FC is likely easier because the pads are bigger.
I am a little confused, did you put the Crossfire receiver in yourself or was it already there from the seller? Since you do not have a soldering iron, I assume it was from the seller. And if it is from the seller, then there is no way the receiver would have worked like that (as mentioned before).

0 Yes, I did not put the receiver on. I personally would've preferred a different receiver protocol but tbs is fine. Yeah, like I mentioned the seller remains fairly convinced he did not scam me.

786 Well the wiring doesn't lie. That quad has never flown in that state. Maybe the seller didn't intentionally scam you, but it's evident that you weren't sold the quad with the same setup as the one you saw flying. Whatever the explanation, I don't think you are going to have any recourse for getting your money back with more than 6 months having elapsed since the transaction was completed.
If you're unable to get Serial RX swiched on using another computer or an Android device, you are going to need to look at getting a new FC.
