Happymodel X12 plugs
#1
Got one of these to build a 2S Babytooth. Trying to decide whether to remove the motor plugs so I can solder directly to the board, or buy some JST pigtails and solder them up. I’d prefer to solder directly to the board, but I’ve read some reviews that suggested removing the plugs from this board is a bad idea.

Suggestions? And if I decide to remove the plugs, should I just wiggle them gently until they break or attempt to desolder them?

As somebody who has removed the plugs, it's pretty hellish getting them off. Takes a ton of heat and they're extremely stubborn. After they're off, the pads are very very small and close together.
