I sold my FS-16x a couple of years ago thinking OpenTX would never be ported onto it.

The lack of a JR bay was another limitation. You could 3d print a JR bay and use ppm back then but again it was not worth the hassle.

can you do this on turnigy i6?

Stupid question time.

1) Who has flashed this OpenTX on their i6x?

2) Does it affect FlySky functionality?
Will it work with all existing receivers? Flit10, Fli14+, X6B, ia6b?

3) How does it work with PPM, IBUS vs PPM, SBUS mode (which I never really understood). And does it still show telemetry?

4) The different radio code.. is there any effect on signal or failsafes?

Personally verified the FS-X14S; XR602T-A.
I have both Fli14+ and X6B, I haven't tested (if possible I can try), but I saw verified X6B for IBUS.
IA6B including Cleric-K RSSI and FS-2A is verified. iA10B is verified for SBUS/IBUS16, LQI at channel 17.
Regarding telemetry, I have an XR602T-A without RSSI, I didn't test any more, I immediately switched to ELRS together with openTx, and I have telemetry via BT on my smartphone as well.
Otherwise, this step is reversible, that is, it can be tested and eventually reverted.
So I wouldn't want to anymore.
Yes this hradware can't compete with native radios for openTX, but this port takes it to another level.

Hi, what does that mean, isn't it? Not working? Can't find it in the menu? Everything works for us.
