Flysky fs-16x telemetry
#1
Hi.
I have a flysky fs-16x. I have the rssi, err, noise and snr which are all related to signal, but what do the numbers actually mean with regards to the signal quality.
The err for example always starts on 10 and never changes is this number supposed to go up or down and what's a safe number. I thought it was supposed to be a % but doesn't say % after it.
Same with the rssi etc, they all have numbers that are constantly changing but I don't understand what there telling me.

The one you should worry about is RSSI. Received signal strength indicator. It is a relative scale that indicates how strong your transmitter is picking up your receiver signal. Depending on the system, the scaling can be different. I believe Flysky is 0-100. 100 being the strongest. I fly Frsky. For me, when my RSSI goes down to 50, I try to turn around because I can failsafe soon after.

As for the rest of the other values, I don't know.

I found information on the other values.

As for Err, the is the percentage of errors getting transmitted. 1% is what you should have.

in my fs-i6 (moded with qba667 14ch firmware) SNR is related to RSSI. It ranges from 0dB to 45dB, 45dB being 100% RSSI in OSD.
