I would like to program a newly purchased flight controller. The issue is that I cannot find a way to program the MCU with a usb connector. I do have an stlink/V2 but requires SWD/jtag connectors, and my FC only has a usb connector. So I was wondering how does betalight configurator do it ?

My goal is to build an entire (different) drone from scratch, including the software. So I don't want to go through betaflight configurator. I would like to build the software by myself (with exception to some libraries and drivers).

So I wonder how does Betaflight configurator flash Flight controllers with a usb ? 

Do they use stm32cubeide to test their code ?
