Betaflight first flight PID and filters setup
#1
Hi all! Help me, please.
I assembled the copter. 3.5" on Speedybee 405. Everything turns on correctly, and everything works. I even tried to take off. It flies. But I have a question. I read Oscar’s instructions on setting up filters and PIDs. Both options - simplified settings. And settings using BlackBox. Both options require that I already know how to fly and perform some tricks - sudden movements and turns, somersaults. But I am a complete beginner. Now the question itself. Please give me a link to the material that describes how to initially correctly configure the drone. How to protect yourself, correct initial settings of the drone so that it definitely starts flying. So that I can learn enough to fly with them, and only then it’s better to set up filters and PID. Is there such a technique?
I've actually built two drones. I also have woop 25. But it has the same problem. It works and takes off. But I would like to make sure that both my drones are set up correctly to start flying for safe flight training

If you're new, you don't need to tune yet basically. As long as your motors aren't hot after flying, your tune is pretty much 'safe' even if it isnt 'good'.

With time+increased skill you may notice some issue you would want to tune out, but for starters just flying it how it is will be just fine.
