First MultiGP Race
#1
Just signed up for my first MultiGP race this weekend.  It's setup for beginners so only 5 gates and no timer, # of laps completed wins.  Good chance of rain this weekend so it might get rescheduled and so far only 3 pilots singed up and I know the other 2, so it'll be informal since I have flown with them before out of MultiGP.  Hopefully the weather will cooperate.

I like the last part of the statement "This event is for the new pilots who may have been intimidated by the larger races."  Big Grin

It's great that they're actively setting up events which try to encourage less experienced pilots to join in.

Good luck. Your quad looks best out of the 3 entrants so far Cool

AWESOME!  Can you run an HD cam during the race?  That would be sooooo cool to ride along with you!  Good luck, and KICK ASS!!

Thanks.  Kelvin is in the top 20 on 3 of the MultiGP leader boards.  A lot I can learn from him.  Warren is running an ultra lite and fast quad, not much over 200g.  It will be interesting and fun.  I hope more join but not too many since right now even if I was last I could say I came in third.

Hey! Good luck! +1 for HD camera question.
Feel like constantly chasing perfection. Once you think you almost got it, see how far you are really.

Good luck Hypurr, remember just go out and have fun. Walk around the pits, ask questions. It's just like the forums, everyone will be glad to help you out and share their setup tips.
Dude, where's my quad?

Not sure about a podium. Smile

I'll bring a quad with a Gopro and try to run the course for some video.

Awesome man! I am spoiled where I live with several great spots to fly, but the downfall is I am far enough in the boonies to not have sanctioned events near me.
Best of luck Hypurr! Routin' for ya bro!

It's a beginners race, battery size doesn't matter, whoever crashes last wins  ROFL
