Pretty sure you could just buy an external nano ELRS tx module, run v2 on your internal and v3 on your external or vice versa, and just switch between internal or external module depending on the quad you wanted to fly.
You know that would be an interesting experiment. The Jumper T-Pro allows a nano module, so I could maybe use that. But I find those external modules to be aesthetically displeasing. Like strapping a house brick to the underside of a controller. Would rather have another controller. I have nothing but good things to say about the T-Pro, as much as people slag it off, it wasn't as bad to flash people made out and it's smooth as silk when you are flying, plus the ELRS LQ is pretty excellent.
TBH though my plan was to probably buy one of the new Jumper T-Lite ELRS with the four, 3-way switches on it. My T-Pro lacks proper multi-position switches. It has two plastic 3 way switches. I use one for modes and one for arm. It also has loads of other switches, but I haven't worked out how to set them up yet. Thankfully this drone doesn't appear to have turtle mode, so I only need to add the buzzer in at some point when I work out how to. But on a more advanced drone that supports lots more things and might need more switches, then it would be nice to have more, not to mention if I ever get a wing (and I almost bought a partially built Caipirinha last month), then more switches would be useful.

By the time I get ready for my new transmitter, RadioMaster TX16S II (or what
ever is new), this ELRS might be a bit more stabilized.
It's as bleeding edge or as stable as you want it to be. Sure the hardware part keeps changing, but that's software/hardware development for you. I went down this path because it was open source, being actively developed and because I see it as the future. Also many of the review videos I watched achieved great things with ELRS. I was originally interested in Crossfire or Tracer, but all the reviews I watched, the ELRS TX/RX blew them away. it was also cheaper than either of them. OpenVTX and HDZero will probably be the other future tech that becomes the standard, down the line.
