A friend of mine has had a string of bad luck since he started FPV a few months back, and gave me a bag with some parts that don't work. Among those parts are 4 Airbot Wraith 32 v2 ESCs. I've been trying to get into learning to fix stuff where I can instead of buying new parts so this is practice for me.

Anyway, I hooked the ESCs one by one to a power supply and fed them 8 volts at .5A, but they don't even light up. I followed Dronemesh's video on testing mosfets and out of all 4 ESCs, only one had continuity, which turned out to be due to a missing capacitor on the other side, which I then replaced (one of the boards is pretty noticeably damaged so that's the donor). So even now that I get no continuity on the mosfets, nothing powers up.
I've been watching a bunch of videos and it seems most of them deal with diagnosing mosfets but little else. Can anyone offer any advice?
