I was looking at my VTX page in BF and noticed that I had not set a power level for the vtx. Low power disarm was set so it was probably stuck at 25mw. Which would explain losing video on the other side of the house which was probably the reason for the crash.
I set it to 200wm That should help.

Follow up on this
Got my vtx properly set to go to 200mw after arming and 25mw when disarmed. With all the messing around with the wires some of them looked like the connections were questionable. So I re soldered them all and got everything tucked in under the canopy.
It will go anywhere in my yard with me sitting in back on the patio. I even flew it out into the field at least a couple hundred yards away. Good video and no warnings. My rssi was down to 39, not sure where it will failsafe but it goes far enough for now.
When I do the CRSFR mod to my QX7 I will do some more testing. Or maybe I should test it now and see how far it will go with the old QX7 and no mod stuck at 250hz packet rate.
Pouring Concrete tomorrow so it may be a couple of days.

Very happy with ELRS so far. I have a longer range than most  Mobula 7.
Oh ya, I di the blheli m jazz maverick thing too. I get almost another minute of flight time and the motors are much cooler

I've got an ES900 that's doing this with my T-Motor Pacer F7. Might have to see if that UART switch works for me.
