DIY 225 frame
#1
Hey Folks!

I finally found some time to rebuild my light backup quad. Since I decided to mount EMAX lightning_s on my main quad (long story short - EMAX screwed up, first batch = capacitance issues, I "fixed" it with huge 1000uf cap and Demon Core saving my FPV stuff, so who cares). Previously I used Littlebees, so I placed them on this one. I also replaced a broken ZMR arm and a DYS bell with a broken magnet (sh#t, that really happens Big Grin ).

I won't give you details on the build, I posted previous version in MI group.

DIY 225mm frame (ZMR250 and hacked up Demon Ghost v2 parts)
Demon Core PDB (early version of V2)
Naze32 rev5 full
FVT Littlebee 20A
DYS BE1806 2300kv not-so indestructible motors
Flysky ia6 RX (ibus)
Props to use: 5040 on 4S.

FPV:
Micro 600tvl BG 170deg camera
Eachine ET200 VTX with direct soldered naked bat antenna.
Micro minimOSD, MWOSD 1.6

I couldn't believe my own eyes when I inspected my DYS motor. Believe it or not, that's my first damaged one ever Smile (because mutilated Cobra bearings don't count Tongue  ).

I also decided to check how those crappy rubber ducky 5.8 antennas work. Also never used them before. Direct soldered VTX with antenna weighs 7g (my DIY cloverleaf alone weighs that much):

And the finished build:

Quad weights 249 grams, 410g AUW wih 1300mah lipo. Maiden flight tomorrow Smile
Find me on Youtube and Instagram. I currently fly: DRC Aura, NOX5R, Minimalist 112 and drive a scrap RC car
