121 03-Apr-2023, 02:23 AM (This post was last modified: 03-Apr-2023, 02:27 AM by Lemonyleprosy.) Check out Lukeman’s Jitterbug:
https://ungercnc.com/products/ols/produc...-frame-kit I’ve got an analog build thread of it here, but he sized it to fit a walksnail or hdzero vtx:
https://intofpv.com/t-lukeman-jitterbug-2-prototype It pairs well with 1103 motors, as high kv as your choice of battery cell count will allow.
Edit- I don’t know what the flight characteristics of your odonata are like, but I’m guessing it’s similar to a GnarlyFPV subatomic (1.6”), in which case, the jitterbug is similar but with a bit more agility and thrust given the increase in prop size.
Dangerous operations.
Disclaimer: I don’t know wtf I’m talking about.
I wish I could get the smell of burnt electronics out of my nose.

11 You might try using 2” props on your phantom HD.
It should slow it down, more power in the turns and faster throttle response or quicker spool up.
Maybe someone else will chime in that has tried it with 2”.
I have used 3” and 3.5” props on 4” builds and got less speed, but more power in the turns and less floaty.

51 Can't see which motors you have on the 2.5", HM1203s? I put lightweight Skystar 1103 motors and lower pitched 2512 props on the same phantom frame with WS VTX and on 2S it makes for a great backyard flyer. Not too powerful but agile and good flight times.
I also tried 2" props on an 85mm whoop frame with the same motors, but didn't like that as much. Less agility, less flight time, although it may hit tinier gaps.

2 I didn’t even think about running different props. Motors are 1202.5 6400kv. Props are azure 2540 with 4” pitch. I also have some Gemfan 2540 props but think they have 4” pitch also.

97 You might try 2 inch props on the GEPRC build.
This is a cheap and easy way to slow it down a little bit.
I have had good results running 3 inch props on 4 inch frames.

27 So.. Im now into rewinding motors.
I tried couple 1202.5. Not impressed. Not punchy. Windings thin and messy.
My 1st 2.5" - HM1203 11500kv. They are fantastic on 2512. They feel much closer to 1204. Highly recomm.end
