I couldn't resist getting this stack as it only costs 38$ (and was even cheaper on preorder). I have finally got the parcel and want to share some initial thoughts and photos.
I grabbed it from Banggood
This seems to be a former Diatone replacement part
Warning: BG lists this as a 4-6S stack, while both the Diatone page and package mention 2-4S. (fixed)
Stack dimensions:
30.5x42x15.5mm (details below)
Weight of the stack, wires and hardware incl.: 11.65g
Flight Controller
MCU: STM32F405
Gyro: MPU6000
BEC: 5V 1A
FLASH: 16M
OSD built in (AT7456 chip)
Mounting holes: 4mm, 3mm with preinstalled grommets
Target: FURYF4OSD
Initial dump ( )
4 in 1 ESC
Mamba F25HV ESC
Current: 20A continuous, 25A in 5s burst
Current sensor
BEC: NO
Mounting holes: 3mm
It arrives neatly packed in a plastic can, I REALLY like what I see, I would expect that from a premium product, not from a stack that cheap:
Parts of the package have the pinouts printed on:
And a simple usage schematic:
Footprint of the stack:
Width: 30.5mm
Length with wire harness: 42mm
Length without wires: 35mm
Height: 15.5mm
Height does not include bottom standoffs. It can be significantly lowered by using custom mount, only screws and nuts for example, see the profile photo shown a bit lower.
Preinstalled hardware used on the stack is a set of M2 standoffs and the FC is soft mounted with silicone grommets.
Please note that this stack is designed for M3 hardware, M2 standoffs have small white plastic 'adapters' added to avoid anything being loose. This seems to work perfectly.
FC is soft mounted with blue 4mm silicone grommets (inner diameter is M3):
The 4in1 ESC:
What you will also find in the package:
- 10cm of 18AWG silicone wire
- XT30 connector
- 25V 470uf Sanyo capacitor
- spare wiring harness
I will use this stack on my upcoming 2,5" - 3" build. Parts ordered:
- 1206 GEPRC 6000kv motors
- 550 mah 3S
- DemonRC Legit 3
Cheers gals and guys!
