That and or the motor....just the ESC I think.  It was really windy here today and i turned into the wind and didn't pitch froward enough when I goosed it.  The wires are  bare copper with no insulation and I don't think it got fried by the power line, but rather the bare copper provided a conduit for the ESC to short itself out.  Sad

Having hit a few power lines here and there, I have never had anything get burned...but they have caused damage and crashes.  Hopefully you can just change out the ESC and be airborn again soon!

I think your quad is probably just protesting because it hasn't been cleaned  Tongue

Oh man, that sucks!
Probably not a good idea to create a badge for hitting powerlines... someone might be encouraged to do so Big Grin
