Current sensor problem with Lumenier Elite 60A
#1
Hi,

I hope that I could receive some hints in this forum about a very strange issue I'm currently having.

In short, I bought a "Kakute F7 HDV" and I connected it to a "Lumenier Elite 60A 2-6S BLHeli_32 4-in-1 ESC".

Everything is working fine except that the current sensor is displaying a value that are not reliable at all and also this value is constantly changing rapidly several times per seconds with big difference between each value displayed.

I connected the "Current sensor" pin from the Lumenier to the "Current" pin of the Kakute. Also in BetaFlight, I selected "Onboard ADC" for the "Current Meter Source" option.

I also did the test by selecting "ESC Sensor" instead in BetaFlight (the Telemetry pin of the Lumenier is connected to the Kakute UART7 as indicated in the Kakute documentation) however I get the same problem. Non reliable value constantly changing.

Is it a know problem?
Or maybe somebody would have hints to help me to figure out what could be the problem?
For now, I'm suspecting the Lumenier Elite 60A board.
Please, note that it is not a calibration problem since I tried to calibrate it and values displayed are still not reliable and changing constantly.

Thank you.

Can you post a dump file and photo of the wiring? Just want to double check.

You will find attached photos of the wiring.
On the cable only photo, I tried to separate cables so that you can see more distinctively.
I have also made a "collage" so that it is easier to figure out the wiring.
I also double checked and I'm pretty sure my wiring is fine however thank you for double-checking it for me.

Finally, I also attached the dump file as requested.

Thank you for your time.

I don't see anything wrong. I suggest a reflash of firmware.

After flashing with the last BF version 4.1.5 the values looks more reliable.
I will do more tests.
Thank you.
