3 14-Dec-2022, 01:34 AM (This post was last modified: 14-Dec-2022, 04:33 AM by JinxFPV.) Hi all,
I'm helping someone who's new to the hobby and he cannot seem to get his new QX7 bound to his Meteor75. Since I started FPV with the QX7, I figured I could be of help but alas I'm useless. I've watched a bunch of videos and can't seem to find exactly what the problem is.
The only modes available are ACCESS and ACCST D16. It's on OpenTX V2.3.14, and the internal module reads ISRM-N 1.1.1/2.1.6FCC.
Never had this issue when I started out. Can anyone offer advice please?
Thank you.
EDIT: After doing more research I'm thinking maybe it's because this is the ACCESS version and not ACCST, so it won't pair with a d8 receiver...

On the other hand, if they have a ACCST version QX7, then ACCST firmware must be flashed on the RX module in the Meteor.
Basically, the firmware type (ACCST or ACCESS) must match on the TX and RX for it to bind.

3 Thank you. The Meteor has an aio board and there's no way to flash the rx on the aio as far as I know. I'll suggest he gets an xjt module for the TX.

786 The SPI receiver on the BetaFPV Meteor 75 will be using ACCST 1.x.x firmware. That QX7 has ACCESS version 2.1.6 installed which utilises ACCST D16 2.x.x. ACCST 1.x.x and 2.x.x aren't compatible with each other. He can either downgrade the ISRM module firmware to v1.1.3 which utilises ACCST D16 1.x.x, or he can do as you suggested and get an XJT module and make sure that is flashed with ACCST 1.x.x firmware.

Thank you again. I flashed 1.1.3 but it still won't bind to anything. I tried 1-8 telemetry on and off and no luck.

786 It's quite possible that there's an issue with the Meteor 75. It is a BetaFPV product after all. If you also find that you can't bind to it using an XJT module either, then you know the issue then lies with the Meteor.

3 Looks like the XJT module worked. Thanks again, Snow!
