i wanted to, but it would make the frame 10mm wider and longer...
These FC's are becoming outdated Smile
time to get the smaller boards Smile

Hi,

I'm having issue with my EVO F3 brushed board,
I have connected all 4 motors to CleanFlight configurator, went to Motors section-> Motor test ->
Try to run each motor but nothing happens Sad
Did I miss something obvious or all FET's on that board are faulty ? SadSad

Battery not connected while Cleanflight configurator hooked up.
Tested also armed (throttle bottom right) without any difference Sad
Please correct me if I'm wrong but Motor test in Cleanflight should work with or without arming right?

Hello i have received a Bg f3 brushed fc after a month of shipping but i am having some problems connecting to cleanflight.
I downloaded every driver for windows and rebooted pc.the pc recognize it as stm32 device but in cleanflight after 10 seconds timed out and failed connecting but Com 1 port seems ok since it opens and close correctly.
This board comes already flashed from banggood?
What is wrong? Manual port or Bauds? Faulty board?

It worked out of the box for me without installing any dirvers..
can you see other COM port after connecting? baud rate should be the same as other FC's.
can you re-flash firmware? (look up how to flash EVO F3 board if you are not sure)

if still not luck it's probably a bad board.

when you unplug the FC, is com1 still there? The manual for choosing port is, whichever port appears when you plugin the board, that's the port Smile
if no new port appear when you plug FC in, it probably means you haven't installed the correct driver yet.

Reflashed correctly using zadig (now with dfu option in cleanflight) but still unable to connect....
After flashing it rebooted but now it has always the solid red led and no more blue led flashing.

Tried to short again the boot pads but nothing changed...still only the solid red led

And the blinking blue led is on after the successful flashing but when reconnected to usb the blue led goes off and remain online solid red only

Not with this board, but I once had an issue with a bad USB cable.  Got another one to try?
