I have posted some of this elsewhere. After learning about this portal, I though it a more appropriate residence for my question. Let me know if I have transgressed.
I’m trying to Bind and Arm Beta85 Pro 2s. My TX is the ACCST model of the Taranis X9D. There is no BIND button on the 85s I have.
My Bind process for Beta85 Pro 2 is as follows:
Connected USB cable to BF on computer; then go through the process listed below:
1. Place TX 4ft away from Quad
2. Have TX with Bind blinking
3. Plug USB cable from Quad into computer
4. Select Receiver tab
5. Click Bind receiver
6. Click Save
7. Press Enter on blinking Bind, then EXIT
After that process, the sliders on the Receiver tab work properly and the Arm, Mode, etc. switches work properly on the Modes tab.
Next, I disconnect, plug a battery in and throw the Arm switch. Nothing happens.
The only difference I can detect between my Beta75Xs which do arm and fly and the Beta85 is this:
I must perform the complete BIND process every time to see any action on the 85s; whereas, on my 75Xs, plugging in a battery when connected causes sliders and switches to show action.
Question: Am I bound? If yes, any arming suggestions?
