11 I've been very content with my happymodel whoops for cruising, but for tricks the fractal that I have is much more capable.

41 I'm a BetaFPV guy. Have several wrecked whoops.
Have built a couple of them too. I much prefer the bigger whoops like the Meteor85. 2S power is just better, especially when you fly outside.
Once you fly a 2S, you will probably not stray back to 1S very often, unless you have a 65mm that you fly indoors. It's just so much better and you get hooked, especially after your first throttle punch or the time where that extra power gets you out a tight spot. Going up to 3S is similar. The more power you experience the less you want to go back to less power.

2 I agree with Path. In the tinywhoop world, my 2s Mobula8 is my favorite. Not much voltage sag, smooth and nice, and a nice long flight time with 525 mAh LiHV 2S.
That said, my little 1S tinies fly just fine outdoors, even in (moderate) winds. Since they make more speed than the wind it's not that hard to fly them out there. I'm not good enough to fly in my house, so I don't.

51 And don't forget the inexpensive brushed little brother. Not as much power as brushless but enough for tight spaces and longer flight times.

20 Best “manufacture”…depends on what U want to do.. ciotti is the “micro king”, and hands down probably does the most intense indoor durability flying .. if ur not familiar with him.. you should be..
At the moment he is testing light weight whoop frames ..and beating the SNOT out of them..

41 13-Dec-2023, 09:54 PM (This post was last modified: 13-Dec-2023, 09:54 PM by Pathfinder075.) Other masters of whoop building are well pretty much any of the IGOW sponsors and winners. The guy from Infinity Loops and Nick Burns are good places to look for whoop reviews that probably also include some flight footage.
While hug is likely right about nimbleness, my flight style is more about going fast and not really trying to fly through little gaps. So I favour raw speed over extreme precision and nimbleness. But then i doubt Hug flies like me either. We all have our own flight styles and likes and dislikes. Buy what you like, ignore what you don't.
My Meteor85 was fun, unfortunately after 200 or so flights and several crashes and hard hits the FC died on it. So longevity should also be assessed in your choice. I personally think around 200 flights is ok and the fact i used it to learn to fly (and crashed it a lot while doing so), it stood up well and the only problem I ever had with it was the motor mount screws kept falling out and some of the soldering can be a bit suspect, especially on the camera (if you have the Ant Nano Lite version).
At the same time I always see certain whoops in the defective/bargain bin at UMT. Always tons of Moblite6 and 7, also lots of Meteor65's. So there is an obvious weakness in those quads and I would probably never buy one of those new. For me if I wanted a whoop, either Meteor75 or Mobula7, ideally in a 2S variant. I don't fly indoors for the most part. i like to fly outdoors and sometimes indoors in factory type bandos.
This video is one of my favourites. Precision and sweet flying. i go back and rewatch it from time to time.
