As for battery nount ... you can do both and fly with different results, as stated, prrsonal preference
Yet they do differ in experience.

As for the 6s... ive seen karol on 5s ripping it was impressive -yet iremain at 4s - still fun, still need more skills and time to practice 4s - maybe soneday i will switch to 6s, yet for now i dont see it as priority.

Having time to fly is more of a concern...

If you can pilot mid to high kv at 4S, that should translate to 6S low kv. That is the point of low kv 6S. So if you don't want to wait, go for it.
